Aloha guys, For the rest of the term we are working on Matariki, My reading follow up was based on Matariki. We had to make a presentation about the main ways to celebrate Matariki, and what is Matariki. We first read a little bit about Matariki then we had to make the presentation. Here is mine
I am a student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. I am a Year 5 and my teacher is Miss Scott. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful in your comments.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Helpful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

ReplyDeleteI have learnt so much from reading posts about Matariki. It was like the stars were a calendar for people.I found the facts to be very fascinating.
If you can remember that far back.did you look for the cluster of stars?.
I went out at night but I wasn't sure which part of the sky to look in.
I did find the Southern Cross.
