100 word count

  Aloha people, This week we did a 100 word count for reading. A 100 word count is when you  get a prompt or a photo and you have to write about it by the photo or if it is a prompt you have to add that in your story, and you also have to make your story 100 words exactly. This week we had to wrrite about a picture. Here is my 100 word count and the photo

“Yay”, it's time to go the museum.'' I yelled. I've been waiting for this moment for ages. I was so excited. We arrived and there were so many things. All the pictures were so eye-catching. But there was this one thing I couldn't get my eyes off. It was a ball with heaps of bumps and pattern type things. It looked so cool. I wanted to take it home and show my friends. “Mum come look at this' 'I said. “Wow, that's so cool,” said mum. We asked the receptionist how much it's worth and they said 1000000 million dollars

Cloze

 This week we did a cloze. A cloze is when you get a story and some missing words, and on the side will be the words that are missing. You have to try figure out the words that are missing and put them in the right spaces. It was called stung and it was pretty easy. Here is my cloze

Mountain safety

 Aloha guys, this week for reading we have been learning about mountain safety. for our reading follow up we had to make a poster on how to stay safe in the mountains. I worked with 2 people named by Kushla and James. I really like our poster and hope you do to. Here is our poster. 

Spelling activity.

Aloha guys, this week for our spelling we had a semi hard activity to do. The activity was to, Make a drawing of a prehistoric Caucasian hurling a javelin at a group of nomadic geologists playing a fanfare on their bugles while observing a crevice in a recently landed meteorite

We had to figure out what all of the words meant/ were. We then had the choice to either draw it on paper or to do it on a google drawing. I chose a google drawing beacuse they are much easier to do then drawing it on paper. here is my google drawing.

Personification

 Aloha guys, last week for our reading follow up was about personifications. For our must do we had to make a presentation about what personification is. I did my presentation with my friend kushla and we did it on a google slide. here is our slide.

Venn diagram

 Aloha guys, the few past weeks for reading we have been learning about the olympics. We have a must do and a choose. The must do is a task that we HAVE to do, the choose is three task that we can choose to do. For the must do we had to make a venn diargram comapring the differences between the ancient olympics and the modern olympics. Here is my venn diargram

Zones Netball

 Aloha, yesterday we had a Zones tournament for Winter Sport. I went to zones for netball. We had to play 6 games but one of the teams came late so we only played 5.

 We versed Ilam, Burnside x2, Fendlton and Wigram. We won 3 games and lost 2. We lost against Ilam and Fendlton, and won against , Wigram and Burnside twice.

 It was freezing when we arived and left. I played all postions and I was off for only 1 half. My favroute postion to play is C because we can run around almost the whole court.

 We came 3rd overall, and i am very proud of our team. For the rugby they came 1st and went into cetrals, and for football they came last, they tried there best and had fun so thats all that matters. Here are some photos.
