This week we did a cloze. A cloze is when you get a story and some missing words, and on the side will be the words that are missing. You have to try figure out the words that are missing and put them in the right spaces. It was called stung and it was pretty easy. Here is my cloze
I am a student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. I am a Year 5 and my teacher is Miss Scott. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful in your comments.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Helpful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

ReplyDeleteThis cloze reminds me of my life on the farm.In one of the bedroom, there was a wasp nest in the chimney. We had to make sure that the wasps weren't in our bed.We would find them on the floor every day.We couldn't go into the room without shoes on.
Just remember that when we write words in gaps, some don't need capital letters.
Have a great last week of school :).
