Aloha guys. Last week we had EOTC. EOTC is when you get to go on heaps of fun trips. We do EOTC because we don't do camp. My favorite activity was surfing, so im going to explain about surfing. We went to Sumner Beach so we could practice our surfing skills. There was this group of people who teach people how to surf. They are named Stoked Surf School. We got into our wet suits and picked a board we wanted. The wet suits were very tight and I just chose a plain blue surf board.
The instructors first had to teach us how to stand up on a board and how to paddle. When everyone got the hang of standing up on the board we put a leg rope on and then headed out into the water. The water was very warm because of the thick wet suits.
We all started to surf, I caught a couple of waves. When the waves were gliding over the boards the water got in my eyes and mouth. It tasted to salty and the salt water stung my eyes.The wind was very strong so when we were trying to get the boards out of the water its was so hard to pull it out.

I have been lucky enough to go on camp with some classes and EOTC on other years.
What would you rather do,go on camp of participate in EOTC?.(and tell me why you picked that one please).
