This week we have been learning about Matariki. Matariki is the start of the Maori new year.We had to make art about Matariki. We had to draw a big star and then put heaps of different Zentangles. Zentangles are heaps of patterns really close to each other.
When we finished the star we got another piece of paper and dyed a background for our star. When we finished dying the background we stuck the star in the background. Here is my art Matariki
