Ancient Egypt hieroglyphs

In topic time we where learning about Ancient Egypt. We talked about hieroglyphics. Hieroglyphics is Ancient Egypt writing used in the olden days.
A few minuets later Miss Clifford and Miss Scott shared a slide with us. It had a link to  Hieroglyphics writing.
In Hieroglyphics writing we wrote our name and it had birds, snakes, curly straws and much more cool writing.
After we drew our name on a paper cartouche . After when we where done drawing we got to color them in. I colored mine in black and brown and some people colored theirs in different colors

The bowl means (K)                                                This is what we tried to make
 The leaf means (E)
 The Lion Means(L)
The Leaf again means (I)
And the Curly Straw means (S)
My name is Kelis                                          Type writer

  1. Kelis, this is great! You have a photo of a real Cartouche for comparison, and a picture and link to the typewriter. You have explained your name also. I love the way you are considering what the reader might like to know. Please just change the lower case a to A in Ancient Egypt. Tino pai tō mahi!!

2. Helpful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
